Giving and tithing.

Greetings Dear Saints,

I am writing this post after recent events the Lord has taken me through to teach me about giving and tithing.  As many of you already know, there are many false prophets and teachers that for the sake of greed, make merchandise of God’s people.  2Peter 2:1-3  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.  And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.   And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

Ministers that manipulate God’s people into tithing and giving to pay for their huge churches or ministries are NOT true ministers of God.  Any true ministry of God has modest finances so not to be a burden to the people.  According to 2 Corinthians 9:7, we are to give cheerfully and not out of any necessity.  So any minister that puts guilt or any kind of burden on God’s  people to give, is not a true minister of the Lord.    2 Cor. 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.  There is no liberty of Spirit if there is any manipulation to give.  People should only give as they purpose in their own hearts according to 2 Cor. 9:7.

When the Lord first commissioned me to prophecy to His people back in 2011, He gave me the title of this blog “Hear His Heart”.  He desires for His people to know the truth of His heart and turn from all the false prophets and teachers with all their lies and false doctrines.

I have taken His commission to me very serious and have always only spoken what He has revealed to me.  The Lord loves His sheep and I love His people as well.  Therefore, I have never asked for any donations because I do not want to be like the hirelings that make merchandise of God’s people.  I felt that I would be a hypocrite if I spoke out against all the false prophets and teachers that sold the gospel and yet asked for donations when I don’t have ministry expenses to pay for.

And with the Lord as my witness, over the years I sure could have used other’s donations to help me with my own finances.  I am far from the rich pampered preachers and prophets that you see on Christian television.  The Lord has provided for me to have my own home-based business for income. However, the 2008 economic crash affected my business in a huge negative way because my clients lost their contracts and it trickled down to me.

I went from a substantial income to an income of about $200.00 a month, and some months without any income at all.  At the time of the 2008 crash, I was blessed to not have any monthly rent or mortgage.  The Lord had me living with my mother-in-the-Lord and she owned her own house.  However, in 2012 the Lord took her home to be with Him.  So I had to move away and in with my brother who lives in an RV.

My brother at this time lives on Social Security and we use his monthly checks to pay the monthly RV payments and utilities.  For groceries, we go to local churches that donate groceries to the needy.  My very small income barely covers my business expenses along with car insurance and gas.  My car is twenty-two years old and has several mechanical problems.  But I am blessed to have it for transportation and will continue to drive it, either until the Lord provides something else, or it completely stops working.

Some people have asked me why I just don’t go get a job.  Believe me when I say that I have tried.  But it is not the Lord’s will for me and so He never opened any doors for a job even though I knocked on plenty.

So my point in all this is that over the last few years, I sure could have used any donations or gifts from others in the body of Christ.  But I refused to ask for donations as I felt that it would make me a hypocrite.  So I have relied on the Lord to provide for me all these years and He has been faithful to do so.

However, recently a dear sister in Christ and member of the “Hear His Heart” blog sent a financial gift to me.  She noted that the Lord taught her years ago that we are to always pray for what ministry to give to because most ministries are not of the Lord.  And she told me that she was happy to finally find a true ministry of the Lord that she could give to.

Her giving to me was surprising and also very humbling.  Especially because I did not feel that I had earned it in any way.  I am simply being obedient to the Lord by putting forth His messages to His body.  But even so, I took it that her financial gift was the Lord’s provision for me because it just so happens that I hadn’t made any income that month.

And then I had another event after that where a brother in Christ sent his tithing in to me.  This time it surprised me even more.  This brother has his own ministry in which I have followed for some time.  I consider him to be far more spiritually mature than I and he has been called by our Heavenly Father to be a prophet and watchmen.

After listening to His internet radio show several times, I decided that I needed to help finance his ministry costs.  So I sent him a very small amount of money (as I have hardly anything) and an email with a link to the “Hear His Heart” blog.  I relayed to him that the Lord has also commissioned me to warn His people and stir them awake.  And even though I am on a VERY limited budget, I wanted to help his ministry.

Within only a few short minutes I received a notice from PayPal that this brother had sent money to me using my email with PayPal.  I was surprised and wrote to him with a big “thank you”, but was confused as why he did that.  He echoed to me exactly what this dear sister had told me.  He told me that once he read the latest prophecy on the blog, he immediately discerned that the Spirit of our Father is upon the ministry of “Hear His Heart”.  He said that it was a joy for him to finally find a true ministry to tithe to.

Well his tithing was definitely a blessing to my finances.  But I still wasn’t sure about this yet because as I mentioned already, I did not want to be a hypocrite.  So I took this situation to the Lord and to my pastor and dear friend (a prophet and apostle).  My pastor then told me that the Lord had already revealed to him that  He was going to begin to send people who would give into this ministry.  So he wasn’t surprised at all.  He also told me that I needed to learn to receive from others.

Well I agreed with my pastor and the Lord also confirmed to me that He had sent these people to give into this ministry.  So I asked the Lord to give me understanding of this in His scriptures.  He then showed me that by me not receiving tithing and giving from others, I am doing a disservice to them.  Below is just a small portion of what He showed me:

Giving is fundamental to our spiritual growth.   Acts 20:35  I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said,  It is more blessed to give than to receive.

The Lord loves a cheerful giver. 2 Cor. 9:7  Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgeingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

The Lord honors those who give generously and freely.  Psalm 112:5-9  It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice.  For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered forever.  He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD.  His heart is steady; he will not be afraid, until he looks in triumph on his adversaries.   He has distributed freely; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn is exalted in honor.

When one gives, the Lord does not look upon the amount of the gift, but yet our heart of love and faith.   Luke 21:1-4 Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box, and he saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins.  And he said, “Truly, I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them.  For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”   The widow was destitute, but she still gave selflessly all that she had, believing that the Lord would supply her needs.  Matt. 6:33  But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. (food, clothing, material needs).

Also, our Heavenly Father is pleased with those that give in secret. Proverbs 21:14 A gift in secret pacifies [God’s] anger, but he who fails to give stirs up wrath [of God].   A gift given in secret is not seeking recognition of man as the Pharisees did when they blew a trumpet to announce their alms to the poor.   A gift in secret is only seen by God.

Also, the Lord will bless and protect our finances when we tithe, but we are under a curse when we do not.  Malachi 3:8-10  Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.   Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.   Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Many including myself have thought that this scripture was done away with the old covenant.  But upon further study, we see who Malachi was prophesying to.   Malachi 3:1-2  Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.  But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

It is clear that this prophecy is speaking to us in these last days.  And so the blessing or cursing of tithing is for us.  And I have done a disservice to God’s people for not accepting tithes into this ministry.  And for that, I am deeply sorry and apologize to all of you.  Please forgive me…..

But even though tithing is part of the old covenant law, it is our Heavenly Father’s desire for us to grow up into Christ and consequently into the law of the Spirit that sets us free from the (tithing) law of sin and death.   For in the law of the Spirit, our Father owns all that we have and we give up all for our brothers and sisters in Christ for we love our Heavenly Father with all our heart mind and soul and our neighbors as ourselves, therefore fulfilling the law of the Spirit.  Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

However, most Christians today have not matured in Christ through the crucifying of self to the point of laying it all down.  Therefore, these souls need the schoolmaster (law) that will lead them to the law of the Spirit in Christ. Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.    Howbeit, it is true that the letter of the law brings death according to 2 Cor. 3:6 Who also has made us able ministers of the new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life.   But one cannot mature into Christ and the fullness of the law of the Spirit if one cannot even obey the commands of the schoolmaster….   And unfortunately, this disobedience of the schoolmaster (law) that is supposed to lead us to the law of the Spirit in Christ, instead has become a curse for those refusing to obey. 1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

So in conclusion, it is God’s desire for us to live by the law of the Spirit so there would be no need for us to obey the law of tithing for we would all then be cheerful givers and everyone would have all things in common.   But for those that have not died to self so that they may enter into the law of the Spirit, there is the schoolmaster (law of tithing) to both command and teach giving.

So to those that feel led to give to this ministry, there is now a PayPal button on the blog for this.  Some of your financial gifts will go to my needs, for as scripture states; the worker is worthy of his wages. (1 Tim. 5:8, Luke 10:7).  And we are to fulfill the law of Christ by bearing one another’s burdens according to Galatians 6:2.  And with my low-income, my bills and cost of living is a burden sometimes. However, I live a modest life and do not use financial gifts to support an extravagant lifestyle like the hirelings we see on Christian television.  Nor am I attempting to build any church or ministry unto myself.   Therefore, any donated finances above my modest lifestyle will go to others in need, other ministries and works of the Lord.   Your love and faithfulness through giving is greatly appreciated.

Blessings to you all,

Your fellow servant in Christ,

Kevin Barrett

  1. Kevin, I totally agree with you and have wondered why you haven’t done this before. Do you have a snail mail for people who cannot use paypal? I much prefer mailing in a gift than using c.c. or paypal. I’d be up for it then. Also, thank you for the recent “favor”… it was exactly right on. Thank you again. Charity

  2. found it, thank you bro. have a great day in the Lord….

  3. Blessings Brother Kevin!

In 2000 I was in three churches, only one was I a member. That church was misusing the Lord’s money. So the Lord said to me, give your tithe to one or both of the other two churches. At that time, I decided to give the tithe to my sister’s ministry of whom I am a member.
And I gave my offering to the other church.

In 2003 I had two major surgeries. With one I was confined to the house nearly 7 months. I needed financial assistance to pay my mortgage and bills. Earlier that year I had given 8 hours of donated leave to a stranger within my agency. I only had 24 hours of annual leave and the woman that handled the time cards thought I was crazy to give away a day. Little did I know that I would get sick and need donations for 7 months.

When I went out on sick leave I had to request donated leave also.
When I returned to work I asked if I could have the names of all of those that had donated to me so that I could say thank you. The timekeeper said that she could not give me the names but she could tell me that I had received over 600 hours! THAT’S 75 times what I had given the stranger. YES,HALLELUJAH, GOD HAD POURED ME OUT A BLESSING! HE IS SO FAITHFUL!

Someone once told me that “You are supposed to give into the place where you are being feed the word or God!” Your blog has always fed me the truth and helped me to get and stay on God’s pathway.

The Lord said, “You are His servant and HE takes pleasure in your prosperity (Psalms 35:27)

Thus, I speak the following over your life now:

    1) I break every assignment of the enemy against your finances in the name of Jesus.; Let every hole in your bag be closed, in the name of Jesus (Hag. 1:6) And let your vats overflow (Joel 2:24) In Jesus’ Name.
    2) You are blessed coming in and blessed going out in the name of Jesus, Amen

MAY THE LORD TAKE YOU INTO A WEALTHY PLACE! (Psalms 66:12)

    Sister Kaaren

    • Dear Sister Kaaren,

What a blessing you are. I love your story.

In addition, so far you are one of the few that has responded to me with kind words, a prayer and “works with your faith” (i.e. a donation). You’re a true sister in the Lord and you have the Father’s heart.

I’m surprised at the negative responses I have received already just because I said that people can now tithe or give into this ministry.

I believe that it’s truly time for God to separate the wheat from the tares. For the true children of God care for their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ…

Abundant love and blessings to you, Sis

      Kevin

  4. Lord will bless and protect our finance Also, the s when we tithe, but we are under a curse when we do not. NO!!!

Hi Kevin I believe what you first thought about tithing was correct!

He will provide for the work He wants us to do we don’t need to ask..

Be careful the enemy will try to pull us back into our religious ways in this hour..

    Love and blessings

    Lyn

    • Greetings Lyn,

I understand what you’re saying. I too used to think that the scriptures in Malachi was not for us today. But it’s irrefutable who he was prophesying to. But in any respect, the Lord reminded me of a story that a friend of mine told me years ago that I had forgotten about.

My friend at the time also did not believe in tithing. Then one time at the end of a year the Lord had him to add up how much 10 percent of his income would have been if he would have tithed. And then he had him to add up all the emergency expenses he had that year, i.e. car breaking down, house air-conditioner going out, etc. And his yearly emergency expenses added up to be more than what his tithing would have been. Then the Lord told him that if he would have tithed, then the enemy would not have been able to steal his finances through all the things breaking down throughout the year.

And I agree that the Lord will provide. And I’m sorry if this posting seems as though I’m asking for money. I’m not asking for money, but merely giving people the opportunity to tithe or give to this ministry.

The feel that I’m being obedient to the Lord and must follow His direction. I hope you understand.

      Blessings, Sis

      Kevin

    • Lyn,

Your comment sounds very “religious”, yet it is not backed by the Word ANYWHERE. In fact Paul asked for people to support the ministry, at one time even being sarcastic in saying “He didn’t want to be a burden…”

God, Himself ask us to give. In Malachi God literally says that if we do not give then we are robbing HIM!

This old, un-scriptural, “We do not need to asks…” nonsense is not of God, and contrary to His many of examples OF asking.

God knows the nature of man is to not give, that is why there are so many scriptures telling us TO give.

As Kevin showed, the prophecy of Malachi regarding being cursed for robbing God of tithes is not to the people of The Law, but to the end time saints who are the primary offenders, with endless excuses and vain reasonings that they do not have to tithe.

Test me now, God states … One way or another, we WILL test Him in this, either by cursings for disobedience or blessings for obedience.

For some strange reason, Christians are some of the most stingy, greedy people on the planet, with a million UNSCRIPTURAL reasons for being so.

      • Amen…..

        Blessings to you,

        Kevin

      • Are we giving to those “in greed”
        Building their own kingdoms
        Not giving to needs
The poor the widows and orphans too
When you give is the Spirit guiding you
Are you giving because of rules of man
Or are you led by the great I AM
Giving out of a loving heart
When God shows you needs do you play your part
Or do you stick to the rules of man
Building great buildings is just a sham
What about those who are in great need
Father will show us if his voice we heed
He wants to use us to show he cares
We can show them if we share
It may be money it could be clothes
It could just be a hug or all of those
We need to listen we need to hear
        What the Spirit says
        DO WE HAVE AN EAR

      • Amen, Lyn

As always, thank you for your beautiful poem.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

It is our Heavenly Father’s desire for us to grow up into Christ and consequently into the law of the Spirit that sets us free from the (tithing) law of sin and death. But in the law of the Spirit, our Father owns all that we have and we give up all for our brothers and sisters in Christ for we love our Heavenly Father with all our heart mind and soul and our neighbors as ourselves, therefore fulfilling the law of the Spirit.

        However, most Christians today have not matured in Christ through the crucifying of self to the point of laying it all down. Therefore, these souls need the schoolmaster (law) that will lead them to the law of the Spirit in Christ. Galations 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Howbeit, it is true that the letter of the law brings only death. But one cannot mature into Christ and the fullness of the law of the Spirit if one cannot even obey the commands of the schoolmaster…. And unfortunately, this disobedience of the schoolmaster (law) that is supposed to lead us to the law of the Spirit in Christ, instead has become a curse for the disobedient. 1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

But for those that have not died to self so that they may enter into the law of the Spirit, their is the schoolmaster (law of tithing) to command and teach giving.

        Blessings to you, Lyn

  5. There is NO curse on a Christian who accepts Jesus’ sacrifice as Full Payment. If Jesus did not ”pay it all” then we have the wrong concept of Him. To hear once again a believer invoke a curse over God’s children and ”paying a tithe” is just wrong. Only the Levites according to the OT and Hebrews ch. 7 have / had a ”commandment” to take tithes of the people. Do YOU have such a commandment? david parker Date: Mon, 22 Apr 2013 17:48:11 +0000 To: davidparker_caps@msn.com

    • Greetings David,

May I suggest you read my latest post: “For you shall no longer follow Me in these last days if you hold anything back.” I pray that you can receive the truth of His word.

      Blessings to you,

      Kevin

    • “There is NO curse on a Christian who accepts Jesus’ sacrifice as Full Payment. If Jesus did not ”pay it all” then we have the wrong concept of Him.”

His sacrifice is full payment to open the gates of Heaven, not to provide instant salvation on those who simply invoke His name, yet do not do what He says, nor to remove the curses that we may fall under by disobedience in this dispensation.

You are correct in saying, ” If Jesus did not ”pay it all” then we have the wrong concept of Him.” Yes, many have this wrong concept of Him.

      • Amen…..

It is true that He paid it all and many do not have this concept. But on the other hand, Jesus did not come to save us IN our sins, but to save us FROM our sins.

John 3:8-10 He who practices sin is of the Devil, for the Devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was revealed, that He might undo the works of the Devil. Everyone who has been born of God does not commit sin, because His seed remains in him, and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the Devil: everyone not practicing righteousness is not of God, also he who does not love his brother.

        Blessings,

        Kevin

  6. Dear Kevin, My wife and I have been so blessed by the purity of the Words of Our Father Yahweh you have shared with us all. The way you relay His Admonitions and corrections are so full of Truth. The reason I say this is to encourage you to continue to be obedient. We know that, “As we continue in His Word ,we will know the Truth will set us free”. In response to the Word you gave on Tithing and giving to the True Church of Yahshua (Jesus Christ), we fell like, if Father Yahweh didn’t know, we, His Children needed to hear it, He wouldn’t waste His time or yours, to have you share it with all of us that read what He tells you to share with us. Many of us are so bombarded by so many ministries to give. There are many good ministries, preaching, teaching, and prophesying The Truth. As you shared, “Those that are led by The Spirit are not under The Law.” Pat and I chose to give as He leads us. If He wants a tithe, thats fine, but sometimes He wants more. It all comes down to 2 things.” Where is our treasure?”, and “How much could we pay, for so Great a Salvation?”. In my understanding of Covenant,” Everything We have, is His, and everything He has is ours.” We love you Brother Kevin, thank you for being obedient. E & P

    • Hello Eric,

I’m very touched by your love and encouragement. Thank you.

Yes, many times the Lord gives me words that are not so much accepted by many Christians. I understand that these are the last days and time for playing church is over. It is time for Him to build His true church, and unfortunately many will fall away because they will not endure. He is bringing the fear of the Lord back into His church.

You are absolutely correct. This is a Covenant between Him and us and all that is ours is His and all that is His is ours in His kingdom. As I mentioned in my positing on giving and tithing, Yahweh has had me on a VERY limited income. But even with only $200.00 a month income, I always faithfully give my tithing. And so all of my needs were always met. People tend to think that we only need money or income for our provision, but that is not true. We only need Him as our provision.

Just yesterday I mentioned to my brother whom I live with that according to the world’s standards, we are considered poor. When I said that, we both busted out laughing. It was funny because even though the world may think that we’re poor, all of our needs are met and we consider ourselves very blessed. People completely miss out on the concept that Godliness with contentment is great gain. (1 Tim. 6:6)

When I began to get all the flack from other saints about tithing, with some even unsubscribing. The Lord laid on my heart the time when many disciples that were following Christ turned away from Him and followed Him no more. (John 6:66) We are in the time that those that are not serious and love the Yahweh with their whole heart will turn away.

But in all this, our Heavenly Father is love. He even loves those that will turn away from Him. Many will not be willing to press on with Him to endure to the end and overcome for their crown, but He does not love them any less. His mercy endures forever…..

Thank you both for your love and encouragement..

      Blessings to you,

      Kevin

  7. My dear brother, you do what you feel the Lord is leading you to do. Don’t worry about those who don’t like it or agree with it. I know your heart well enough to know that the Lord Himself has led you to take this step. Don’t feel guilty about it, nor question it. Wait and see what the Lord does for you through this.

    Love you, bro.

  8. Hi Kevin,
I have to agree with you concerning both post on tithing. I struggled with tithing for a long time. I have heard arguments on tithing and arguments on not tithing. I have heard of Malachi, which is used often, and I have heard of God likes a cheerful giver. But God has been dealing with me on tithing. I was one who felt like, I will give when I have and that’s it. Well, I was prophesied to and the prophet told me, God told you to start tithing and you haven’t done it yet. God has been sustaining you. There was more but I forgot the rest.
I know what the prophet said was true. I am no longer going to be disobedient, because I know God has been sustaining me based on my situation. Now, God is trying to prepare his saints for what is coming, and He is saying to rely on Him. I will no longer be disobedient in the area of tithes and offerings, I have started and it feels good to give. God has really being seeing after me, even in my disobedience. Because I want to walk in obedience, hear from the Lord, and be in alignment with Him, tithing will no longer be and issue for me.
Also, giving into the kingdom allows for kingdom business to get taking care of. If you take care of God’s business, he will take care of yours. If tithing is a sore spot for you, keep seeking God on it. If you seeking from a pure heart, He will surely let you know. God bless you Kevin, and keep standing on what God has told you to do.

    • Amen Parrish,

Thank you for sharing your story. Yes it is true that the Lord loves a cheerful giver and would desire that we all be cheerful givers. But unfortunately, that this not the case. Therefore, He has the law of tithing for those that are not being led by the Spirit to give cheerfully.

      Thank you for your encouragement…

      Blessings,

      Kevin

  9. […] Giving and tithing. (hearhisheart.wordpress.com) […]

  10. Brother Kevin,
I appreciate your comments on the subject of tithing/giving. One thing that has bothered me about the way most churches handle the subject of tithing is that they are very strong on our obligation to give them the tithe, but seem to ignore the Biblical instructions for the use of the tithe. As I read it the tithe is to be used for the support of the “Levites” who were the singers, the teachers, the doorkeepers and the money counters, among others. In most churches these are unpaid volunteers. Do you have any thoughts about this?
    John J.

    • Greetings John,

      Thank you for writing in.

You are correct in what the commanded tithe went to in the old testament. And you are very correct in how churches today handle tithing incorrectly. Most all churches are not of God anyway and we are not to tithe to them. It is true that the positions you mention are mostly volunteers, however, in this day and age, there are many other costs for ministries. We are not under any of the old covenant ordinances, but we still give of our substance to God’s house. But by this, I do not mean for the shepherds and prophets that accumulate wealth and or build ministries unto themselves. These are just greedy whore-mongers.

When we give, we are to be lead by the Spirit as to where to give our tithes and then give out of a cheerful heart as the word says. The Lord recently has had me to accept people’s tithing because this is a true ministry of the Lord. However, even though at this point I do not have any ministry needs, I do have needs because the Lord has me living off of people’s tithing and offerings. So those that give to this ministry are fulfilling the law of Christ by bearing one another’s burdens according to Galatians 6:2. I don’t receive that much in tithes and live a VERY modest lifestyle. So the few times that I have any financial gifts above my needs, it goes to the needs of others, therefore, using people’s tithe to fulfill the law of Christ.

Please try to see that it’s not about rules of where the money should go, it’s about loving one another and bearing one another’s burdens (even the church’s burdens) and therefore fulfilling the law of Christ. We are to learn to lay down our live’s for our brothers and sisters in Christ. That’s what it is all about.

But you are correct in that most churches misuse people’s tithing and horde it for themselves and their ministries. This is because most all churches are really just the Harlot Church and not the TRUE church of Christ.

I hope I was able to help you with your question.

      Blessings,

      Kevin B.

For those leaving a comment: Please understand that the Lord has charged me to give out His warnings to awaken His people to prepare for the days ahead. In this, He has told me to not waste precious time trying to convince any that will not hear, for they have already made their choice. So with that, if your comment is a personal attack, insult, rude, or to argue; then may the Lord bless you and keep you. I will not answer back to any rude comments, nor post them. Blessings to you, Kevin Barrett
