Press on through to your promises.

Greetings Dear Saints,

Today I would like to share with everyone the trials and testings which I have been going through the last couple of months.

I share this with my brothers and sisters in Christ for one; to share my need and ask for your prayers, for two; to hopefully encourage anyone that may be going through similar trials.

As many of you already know, those of us who have been faithful in seeking the Lord’s will for our lives are about to enter into His promises.  Some of those promises are specifically from Him that we have been waiting on for possibly years.  And, some are promises of a harvest from what we have sown throughout our last season with the Lord.   (Remember the word to Your servant, In which You have made me hope. Psalm 119:49)

However, sometimes those promises don’t come without a fight.  The Israelites were given the Promised Land, however, they still had to conquer the giants that were already dwelling in the land.  But the Lord was with them in defeating their enemies.  (If the LORD delights in us, he will bring us into this land and give it to us, a land that flows with milk and honey. Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us. Their protection is removed from them, and the LORD is with us; do not fear them.”  Numbers 14:8-9)

As some of you may already know, the Lord gave me a personal promise of blessing my finances far above anything I have known.  Of course, the blessing of these finances is because He has also called me to be a Joseph in these last days and He will use those finances to provide for many during the coming days of lack.   So, just like when God gave Joseph his promises through dreams, Joseph first had to go through some hard trials and testings of his faith before the fulfillment of those promises.

God has given me a home-based business in which He promised to bless. However, since I have had this business (over 2 years) it has not been prosperous in the least.

In this business, I fight on behalf of small health care providers who have been defrauded out of their rightfully earned full payments from the health care insurance companies.  On behalf of the health care providers, I will go after the insurance companies to recover the defrauded money owed to the health care providers.

So far, the Lord has only provided me with one client.  When I first took on this client over two years ago, I was able to recover some of the money due him from the insurance companies, but it was very little and just enough to keep me encouraged in knowing that I am doing a good thing and that my process does in fact work.

However, I have not been able to recover the vast amount of money owed him by the insurance companies.  The only way these last insurance companies will repay the defrauded money is if I sue them in a court of law.  However, neither my client or I have the finances to hire a law firm for this, and, I have not been able to find a law firm that will take the case on a contingency basis. So, for over two years I have been fighting these insurance companies with threats of filing liens and criminal complaints against them.

Well, recently, one of the organizations filed a frivolous law suit against myself and my client in order to get me to stop seeking the reimbursements.  So, we immediately began seeking for a law firm that would take our case on a contingency fee basis and file a counter-claim against the organization for their fraud.  We were always able to get law firms interested, but they would always eventually decline.

We were blessed enough to get our answer-to-the-court deadline extended so we could continue to seek for help.  However, every law firm that we would speak with always ended up backing out.

Finally, the last law firm that backed out only left us with a few days to answer to the court.  So, we were left with answering pro se (on our own behalf without an attorney) and also filing our counter-claim pro se.  We had to scramble in order to get it done in time because neither of us had done this before.

Then, the same day that I get my answer off in the mail to the court, I receive another law suit against me from another insurance company.

I did seek for help from a law firm for a couple of days, but this time I didn’t waste time on it because of the previous experience.  Of course, nobody would take the case on a contingency fee basis, so again, I had to answer to the court and file my counter-claim myself.

Honestly, I am just like David fighting against Goliath.  These corporations suing me have deep pockets and plenty of attorneys fighting on their behalf.  However, I have the Lord on my side and I won’t give up without a fight.

At present, we are awaiting for the corporations to answer our counter-claims, which, they cannot answer our claims without straight-up lying. However, they have been lying to me for over two years and have even submitted lies to the court, so it’s not beneath them.

Howbeit, my eyes are on the prize.  I am fully trusting the Lord for victory in both law suits, and, with spoils to walk away with.

This has been a long two years of fighting against these giants.  But I am fully persuaded that it is now time to reap a reward.  I ask you all to stand in faith with me as we are all One in the Body of Christ and the Lord is using His servants in these last days to conquer the giants in our Promised Land.

I also want to encourage any others out there who may be going through their own trials.  Do NOT give up.  We are almost there.  The Lord is faithful to fulfill His promises and He will not let us down so long as we don’t give up. (And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9)

I thank all of you who have written to me these last couple of months and I apologize if I haven’t written you back yet.  I am doing my best to write each one of you back when time permits.  I have been so busy with this ordeal lately because I must do a lot of research for Civil Procedures for two different states.

This has taken so much of my time that I haven’t even been able to provide the usual patient collections for my client.  Therefore, I haven’t be able to make any wages the last couple of months.  My automatic draft bills have already been hitting my bank account and caused it to be in the negative over $300. And, I don’t have any money coming in this month.  So, if anyone is able to help out with a donation, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hopefully this will be the last time that I have to reach out to my brothers and sisters concerning a financial need.  The Lord has created in me a giving heart and I enjoy so much in giving toward others’ needs.  However, I have been waiting for the fulfillment of His promise for a long time so that I would be in a position to be the Joseph which He has called me to be.

I am reminded of Joseph who was in prison before he was exalted to the position of his promise where he could be a supplier for the needs of others.  I have been in my own prison of poverty for long enough.  Even though the Lord has always been faithful in supplying my needs, it is now time to fulfill His promise to me and bring me up out of the prison of poverty to a position of being the head and not the tail.  (And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you shall only go up and not down, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, being careful to do them,  Deuteronomy 28:13)

So, I share my trials with all of you in hopes of encouraging those who may be going through their own trials.  Keep your eyes on the prize and don’t give up.  God is so faithful to fulfill His promises to us.

There are dark days coming and we must all be equipped both in the spiritual and the natural.  And during the dark days ahead, He will use many of us to be a Joseph for those of the world.  And this will give us opportunity to share the gospel and His unending love for His children.

God is always faithful to keep His promises.  We are almost there, so don’t give up….

I thank you all who have been able to give for my needs in the past and I continue to ask the Lord to bless you abundantly in return for your faithfulness.  Again, I hope this is the last time I will need to reach out to my brothers and sisters in Christ for help with my financial needs.  I am persuaded that soon I will be sharing my testimony of God’s faithfulness in giving me victory in these law suits along with spoils to take with me.

Blessings to you all and keep pressing on through to your promises.  We are almost there….

Your brother in Christ,

Kevin B.
